Please tell us a little bit about yourself.

I am a strong believer in God. I graduated HS with a 3.98 GPA. I got my undergrad degree in Communication in 3 years and then my masters in Communication management with a focus on Marketing in a year and a half. In my spare time I love watching Netflix and my favorite show is Breaking Bad. My dad played in the NFL for 13 years and won a Super Bowl with the Dallas Cowboys.

Grew up in Arizona, went to college in California and now play football at the east coast. How do you like New York and New Jersey?

Living in the New York and New Jersey area is a dream come true I grew up thinking I would never see the east coast let alone call it home. Waking up and driving to work I get to see the New York skyline and am always amazed that I get to call this place home.

The first time I saw snow fall was Thanksgiving day which was an awesome experience for me.

What was your first impression of Nutley?

My first impression of Nutley Kia was a great one.  I was in the Goodyear dealership attached to the Nutley Kia and I went over and met some of the sales team and owner and we hit it off right away and started to build a great relationship which gave me the trust and confidence I needed to buy a car from the Nutley Kia dealership.

Tell us a little bit about on instance that you had a hard time (while you pursuing your career)? How did you overcome it?

I went through a really tough time in college because I dealt with several injuries and I had 4 different head coaches so every year I was asked to change positions. There were times where I questioned myself and whether I would ever play in the NFL but I kept my faith in myself and had a great senior season and ended up being drafted by the Giants.

When did you start playing football? Can you tell us some stories about your earlier years in the sport?

I started playing football in the 4th grade and I was a big kid so I had to go on a diet to make weight for the 4th and 5th grade. In middle school I started playing with older kids and that really helped me get a lot better.

If you did not become a football player, what career would you have chosen?

I would have either pursued a broadcasting career or attempted to become an athletic director for a college or working in the NFL offices.

Are you involved in any charity or community work?

Yes, in college I went to Haiti and built 4 homes for families and fed the homeless. I am currently involved in community service work in New Jersey and New York. I recently went to Albany New York and spoke at a church as well as went to a middle school and took kids through football workouts. Last thanksgiving I went to a homeless center to feed the homeless and a number of other charity and volunteer work over the years.

What’s your favorite motivational quote?

“The man who says he can and the man who says he can’t are both usually right!”
