The school actively invites professionals to assess its unique points-of-difference, emphasizing a call and an in-person visit to explore the suitability of the school for the student.

Donors: While the sending districts covers some costs, the Phoenix Center relies on the generosity of corporations, local businesses, foundations, and individuals to enhance programs and services. Through the Friends of The Phoenix Center Foundation, Inc., the school raises necessary funds to provide cutting-edge programs and individualized attention that make the school truly special. Donors are essential contributors to capital improvements for which tuition may not be applied, ensuring a well-rounded educational experience. For those interested in supporting The Phoenix Center’s mission, donations can be made online or sent to the Friends of The Phoenix Center Foundation, Inc.

Employers: Local employers actively participate in the Phoenix Center’s Structured Learning Experience (SLE) program. This program allows students to engage in supervised educational activities designed to expose them to specific job titles, helping them gain employment skills and make informed career and educational decisions. The program, evaluated and approved by certified SLE instructors, ensures that students are accompanied by trained employment specialists to community sites. Businesses interested in participating in the employment program are encouraged to contact the job developer, Jonathan Andolino, at jandolino@thephoenixcenternj.org.
