Tomato is the spirit of Italian cuisine and Franco’s Metro is going to show their talent by presenting special tomato dishes daily, starting from August 17th.
Family owned and operated for more than forty years, Franco’s Metro has been a local favorite restaurant/ bar in Fort Lee and surrounding areas.
To support New Jersey farmers and promote the idea of eating local, Franco’s Metro will start a two-week long event, 15 Shades of Tomato, serving unique dishes with tomato as the main ingredient. You will be able to see how tomatoes can be used different by a creative chef’s hands. The menu includes Toasted Jersey Tomato with Shrimp Ravioli, Tomato & Grilled Asparagus Quiche, and Creamy Tomato & Basil Soup.
