What You Should Know When Taking a Test Drive

Nutley Kia has a Test Drive route that includes a drive on the local roads and on Route 21 for highway driving – approximately 5 miles.

Prior to driving from the lot with our salesperson all should review the key functions and features of the particular model being driven. The test drive takes approximately 15 minutes and it is most important the customer first focus on the interior comfort and the road handling of the vehicle. The 1/2 of the drive should have the salesperson behind the wheel and then at the ½ way point the customer should take control of the driving.  We can accommodate a longer test drive if necessary. The entire demonstration of the vehicle should take no less than 45 minutes so key function and features can be reviewed and understood. Since many Kia models come standard with equipment that other manufacturers charge for additionally, the product knowledge of our salespeople and our customers is critical.
