1. Can you briefly introduce yourself?
2. When did you start planning open PPC? Why do you want to do it?
PPC is something that Ian and I started tossing around 5 years ago. There was no true direction, it was just friendly banter. Over the course of those five years, however, that friendly banter started becoming much more succinct and focussed until a we found ourselves with a clear vision of what we wanted The Plank Pizza Co. to be. SIMPLE! By keeping the menu small (8 pizzas & 8 appetizers), we can make all of our offerings fresh daily and not be reliant on frozen or premade products. On the beverage side of things, our goal was to offer the widest selection of craft beers that this country has to offer. With 41 rotating draft lines and an ever growing inventory of over 200 varieties in our bottle/can cooler, I think we are well on our way to reaching our goal. It is important to note that we are a craft only beer parlor. We do not serve Budweiser, Coors, Miller or the like. However, our staff of “beer-tenders” pride themselves on their ability to recommend beers that will satisfy the palettes of any of our customers regardless of their craft beer experience. We also have 6 draft wines and offer a large selection of Jones Soda.
3. What is the biggest features of the restaurant?
4. What do you want to bring to your customers?
We want to bring our customers knowledge. We want them to come in interested in our offerings, enjoy their stay and leave with knowledge that they never had before. We are distributing small batch beers from all over the country, as local as Ridgefield Park, NJ and as far west as California. These brewers all do something different, theres a lot to learn and a whole lot to love.
