The 2022 Kia EV6 Makes a Super-Charged Appearance During the Super Bowl

In case you somehow missed it, the Super Bowl was this past Sunday. The biggest entertainment night every year on television certainly did not disappoint. The game, the halftime show, and everyone’s favorite, the Super Bowl commercials were all outstanding to watch. We may be biased as your resistant Kia Dealership, but there was one 60 minute spot that stood out from all the others, the 2022 Kia EV6 Super Bowl commercial. 

 

The playful and bright commercial did a wonderful job illustrating the Kia EV6 is a fully electric model. The ad featured a little Robo Dog who was sad that it was still on the shelf with no owner. That is, until he saw the Kia EV6 get charged up and it knew who it should belong to. 

 

After a long chase, the Robo Dog leapt to be with the EV6 and the owner. Unfortunately it ran out of battery mid-leap, tumbling to the ground. Luckily for Robo Dog, the Kia EV6 is fully electric and was able to charge the pup back up. The fully charged Robo Dog then hit the roads with its new owner and sweet new ride. 

 

This commercial was not only touching but it also gave Kia an immediate boost of interest for the EV6 after airing. According to Fox Business, the Kia brand page on cars.com saw a 921% increase in traffic in the eight-minutes directly after the ad ran. The buzz around the all-new Kia EV6 has only just begun!
