At Nutley Auto Kia, we like to drive around the state, exploring untapped potential in less populated areas. We discovered that there’s more to New Jersey’s beautiful waterside dining than the lengthy shoreline. Think ponds, lakes, and rivers (a big one!), and you’ll find smaller crowds with more mouth-watering grub. So, what are the 5 best unexpected waterfront restaurants in NJ?

It’s time to grab your keys and take a road trip. We’ve got five promising waterside eateries for you spread across several distinct bodies of water. From the Hudson in Edgewater, to Seneca Lake, and the southern shore, follow us on a delicious trip of hidden-gems.

At night, this is a rare spot to take in the twinkling city lights without any hectic hubbub. It’s quiet and mesmerizing.
