Voices of Nutley with Ray Carnevale

Voices of Nutley is back with Ray Carnevale, the organizer behind the Officer Charles Roberts Golf Outing Fundraiser. This episode celebrates the fundraiser’s success and brings awareness of Ray’s involvement to this cause within the Nutley community. From the dedicated hours putting together a scholarship fundraiser in honor of a fallen police officer in Glen Ridge to hosting this event year after year, Ray’s community involvement for this event brings together the whole Glen Ridge and Nutley community.

Learn how Ray organized the golf outing involving the whole Glen Ridge and Nutley community; with Glen Ridge Country Club’s help with hosting, the township’s administrator’s outreach to raise awareness, Nutley Kia’s vehicle sponsorship, and more, the first year was a success. Four $5,000 scholarships were given to graduating seniors at Glen Ridge High School after the first annual golf fundraiser. With the continued success last year with the 2nd annual event, the Officer Charles Roberts Golf Outing Fundraiser will continue on for the 3rd year, May 22nd and May 23rd of 2023.
