tara - nutley nursetara - nutley craft maker

My name is Tara Neves and I am a relatively new resident of Nutley. Born and raised in North Arlington, I’m an avid crafter, a total beach babe, an amateur photographer, and a full time registered nurse. I work in the operating room at Hackensack University Medical Center and when I’m not prepping someone for surgery, I’m designing and making bracelets at my kitchen table.

I’ve been crafting practically my whole life. I made and sold bracelets as a kid while I spent beach days on the Jersey shore, I scrapbooked on Sunday nights hanging at home on the couch, and my crafty side played a huge role in my own wedding.

A few months back, I finally opened up my own Etsy shop! My Sayja Designs, named after my precious pup Sayja, came to life after my husband and family pushed me to show the world of Etsy my creative side. We said goodbye to Sayja a few years back but she was my greatest companion, and one of the best things about our family. She still holds a huge piece of my heart and what better way to keep her spirit alive every day! You’ll notice that every bracelet is accented with a small customized My Sayja Designs tag, dog bone and all! Woof, woof!

My Etsy shop is full of beautiful and unique handmade bracelets that can be worn alone or stacked all the way up your arm 😉 They’re a great addition to any outfit, they’ll help show off your personality, and they make amazing gifts for friends, family, your bridesmaids, and more! All of my bracelets are hand-strung by me and made with love! I’ve been collecting my beads and charms from various vendors so some bracelets are truly one of a kind!

I kicked off the new year by teaming up with Aly’s Nails in North Arlington and displaying some of my pieces in her shop! I also have some craft shows and craft fairs scheduled for this year.
