Kia Sportage Ranks #1 in 2015 J.D. Power VDS

Kia Sportage has just won the first-ever VDS award in Kia’s history. In J.D. Power’s recently released annual Vehicle Dependability Study (VDS), the firm rated Kia Sportage as the top car model in the small SUV category. The study analyzes all problems issued during the previous year by the original owners of three-year-old vehicles, so in this case the 2012 model-year vehicles. It covers 177 specific problem symptoms grouped into eight major vehicle categories. The dependability is determined by the number of problems experienced per 100 vehicles (PP100), with a lower score reflecting higher quality.
