1. Mills Reservation County Park
   This 156-acre small reservation is located on the First Watching Mountain and preserved in its natural state. Only 15 minutes away from Nutley and 30-40 minutes from Newark and NYC, the park is great for urban couch potatoes to enjoy a one-day getaway in the nature. The park offers a wide range of hiking trails, some of which leads to a cliff where hikers are able to see the breathtaking skyline of New York City. 2. South Mountain Reservation
   This nature reserve, located in central Essex County, North New Jersey, was first developed in the end of 19^th After hundreds years, it is still preserved in its original wild state, woodlands and ponds. Formed by lava flows, High Mountain’s rock basalts are also a special highlight to see and learn some geology.
