Expert Talks Kia’s Advantages to NJ Kia Car Dealer

Recently, Pope Fracis chooses Kia’s Soul for his limo from competitors like Chevrolet Spark throughout his trip in Korea. This fact has proven that Kia’s function and safety have reached to a certain level. In Nutley Kia, we always strive to tell people how google Kia is. This time we invite Mike, the founder of Kia-World, to tell us about his opinion on Kia. Take a look at his interview and learn more about this Korean car maker.

1. Can you introduce yourself and tell us your expertise?

My name is Mike and I work in a sales department of a local company that manufactures wooden windows and doors.

I am also a passionate automobile enthusiast running my own car blog, specialized in Korean automobiles – Kia cars in particular. Called Kia-world.net, the blog covers the latest news and info about upcoming Kia models, publishes reviews, spy shots, sales reports, etc.

2. When and why did you join Kia World team? What do you do there?

I am the founder of the Kia-World blog and have been running it on my own for the past seven years. In order to keep the blog active and interesting for readers (existing Kia owners and those looking to purchase Kia cars) it needs to be updated on a daily basis! And that requires a lot of work.

Among others, I search for latest Kia news, spy shots and sales statistics, write and publish reviews and news articles, create videos, and do the blog’s promotion on social media sites such as the Facebook, Twitter and G+.

3. What do you think are the biggest advantages that Kia cars have?

Kia cars and crossover vehicles as of late are all lookers!

They feature unique and attractive exterior designs, which make them stand out from the rest of the cars. What also amazes me is the fact that many compact-sized Kia cars come available with luxury car features, such as the ventilated front seats and heated steering wheel.

Ventilated seats used to be exclusively offered in high-end luxury sedans such as the BMW 7-series or Mercedes Benz S-class, but these days you can find them in a little Kia Soul or Forte compact sedan. I don’t believe many automakers can offer that in their compact sized car models!

On top of that, Kias appear to be the most reliable non-luxury vehicles currently on the market. According to the latest 2015 J.D. Power’s Initial Quality Study, Kia ranks second among all automakers in terms of reliability, while a number of Kia vehicles sit among the top 3 quality cars in their segments.

So, in short I would say that the biggest advantages of Kia vehicles are:

attractive designs
above average reliability
more standard features for the money compared to what rivals offer
industry leading 10-year warranty

4. What do you think is the best Kia car? Why do you love it and what features does it have?

In terms of refinement and technology, the K900 luxury sedan is the best among all Kia models for sure. However, it’s not always the size and the luxury that determine the best car. In my humble opinion, the “best car” has to offer something unique that not many others do, and that’s exactly what the Soul EV provides.

It incorporates that iconic boxy look of the gasoline-powered Soul and uses a highly-advanced drivetrain technology which can not be found in many other automobiles currently on the market. This is the reason why I personally find the all-electric Soul to be the best Kia vehicle currently available.

5. Many people are still making fun of Kia cars’ quality. Do you think that makes sense? Why and why not?

It doesn’t make any sense at all! I would say that people who still make fun of Kia live in early 90s.J

We have to be honest, though. Kia had some issues in the past, but they have successfully dealt with them. They have overcome other industry challenges and that has made the company stronger than ever. Kia is now recognized as the top tier auto brand which manufactures TOP quality vehicles that look really great and are fun to drive!

6. Which model do you think the following group of customers should have? Why?

1.College students – a college student should drive a cool-looking vehicle of a compact size with low ownership cost. I would suggest every student to look at the funky Soul, Forte compact car or Sportage.

Young professionals – young professionals should definitely consider a range-topping Optima SXL. It’s a very classy midsize sedan that offers a potent turbo-charged engine and impressive exterior, interior styling.
Family – families with kids should look for a slightly bigger vehicles that offer more seating and cargo capacity. Obviously, they should go with the new 7-seat Sorento CUV or Sedona MPV.

7. What do you think Kia should improve?

It’s quite difficult to name something that Kia should improve. As a matter of fact, it seems like whatever the company decides to do, it does it the right way.

Their approaches of designing more attractive vehicles, growing brand recognition through sports and going local with manufacturing facilities seems to be working perfectly well!

So, there’s nothing to complain about!
