Kia Custom Order & Reserved Inbound Sales Policy

These are unprecedented times in the auto industry due to extremely high demand and limited inventory because of microchip shortages, supply chain issues and production delays. Nutley Kia will continue to work with our local NJ community (Essex, Hudson, Union, Bergen, Passaic, Morris, Somerset, Middlesex Counties) by placing custom orders or reserving inbound vehicles for our customers.
Once you place an order or reserve a unit, it makes that unit unavailable for another customer. It is important that you are 100% committed to the vehicle. To begin this process, we have implemented the following policy:
- A Retail Buyer’s Order must be completed and signed by all parties.
- All orders require a minimum of 3 Kia Motors Factory installed options.
- A 10% Minimum Deposit must be made based on the retail price of the vehicle.
- An approvable credit application must be made (for any non-cash purchase).
- Prices or payments quoted are subject to change based upon factory pricing, factory incentives and lender programs and rates in place at time of delivery.
- Customer must take delivery of vehicle no later than 5 days of being notified by our dealership that your vehicle is ready for delivery or we will automatically refund your deposit and make the vehicle for sale to another customer.
Kia Motors will accept such orders/reservations from Nutley Auto Kia through a comprehensive factory online system confirming order options along with an estimated time of delivery. Order status is typically updated monthly. However, there is no guarantee of order fulfillment.
Nutley Auto Kia will submit the order request to Kia Motors with an understanding that every effort will be made to fulfill a commitment to the order from Kia Motors within 150 days of placing the order. Upon commitment we will receive estimated time of delivery from Kia Motors.
Deposit refunds will be offered only if an order confirmation is not received from Kia Motors within 150 days of the order placement. On orders that have been confirmed by Kia Motors refund requests will be honored when that vehicle has been delivered to another customer.
